Taco Tuesday on a Sunday
Dear CBC Family,
As I’m writing to you today, we are in the middle of a three-day upgrade on our security system, alarms, cameras and training. There are two things I take very seriously which are your spiritual and physical wellbeing. The first we work for in teaching and praying for each of you. The second we strive for in ensuring we have cutting edge security and armed law enforcement officers onsite during the services. We love you all and care for you deeply.
That said, we also enjoy our quarterly times of hanging out together. So, to that end, I’m reminding you that this Sunday after church is the Taco Extravaganza. There will be a pull-string piñata for the kiddos and lots of fun table games to play with your friends and families, so bring them along!
Bring a side to share if you’d like. If you don't wish to bring a dish to share, there will be a voluntary donation box, but don't feel obligated. Just come as you are! If you feel adventurous, we will be holding a guacamole and salsa contest. The elders will be the judges, so whip up your BEST salsa and guac to win your name on the permanent plaque on the CBC hallway wall! Bribes will not be accepted 😊
We still need a few food prep / grilling helpers if you are available and are so inclined.

The sermon this weekend is a very important one as we continue in Romans 15. It will focus on the means by which the Holy Spirit sanctifies His people. This is a great opportunity for someone to get a clear understanding of grace and experience the freedom of it. You will not want to miss it.
The Revelation class is back on next Thursday night at 6:45 SHARP. If you have not attended previously, and you wanted to, then this is you best opportunity as we will be reviewing the first 11 chapters before we move ahead. Make an investment in your soul by spending the next few months in this amazing book. You’ll be glad you did.
