The Corrupt Queen of Judah

Dear CBC Family,

Just a quick email to get you set for the coming weekend. We will finish our series on “Civil Disobedience” with the final principles coming from 2 Chronicles. You will want to bring your Bibles as we will read two whole chapters as well as a few verses from a parallel text in 1 Kings.

I called the sermon “The Corrupt Queen of Judah.” This Old Testament story is loaded with applications, and warnings, for us but our main purpose in it is to see how it applies to civil disobedience. I guarantee you will be fascinated by what we cover.
