Getting to know the Spirit cont.

Hey Church Family,

This Sunday, we continue our series, Getting to Know the Spirit, by looking at a truth that changes everything: The Holy Spirit never travels empty-handed.

When you received, not accepted, Christ, the Spirit moved in, and He brought a treasure chest of supernatural gifts with Him. Whether it is a gift of bold faith, supernatural wisdom, teaching, or a quiet, powerful gift of mercy, you are not empty-handed. God has fully equipped you to play a vital role in His family. But a gift is only useful if it is unwrapped, given and used.

Right now, there are people all around us—in our neighborhoods, our workplaces, and our grocery stores—who are trapped under the heavy rubble of loneliness, anxiety, and despair. God's plan to reach them is you. The spiritual gifts you carry are the tools meant to help dig people out of the wreckage of their lives and point and bring them to the hope in Jesus.

As you prepare to meet the Lord this weekend, take a moment to pause and ask the Holy Spirit two simple questions:

1.    "What gifts have You placed inside me?"

2.    "Who around me needs that gift today?"

Don't leave your neighbor under the rubble. Step out in boldness. Text that friend who is struggling. Pray for that impossible situation. Let the King fill you afresh and live His beautiful life through you.

I can't wait to see you this weekend as we continue getting to know the Spirit together! Bring a friend who needs the Truth.

Blessings,

Pastor Scott
