A message from the Awana Commander:
It's Time For Awana!
Awana is a program whose goal is to reach kids with the gospel and train them to serve Christ. Awana is a nine-month program that starts Tuesday, September 9 and meets every Tuesday from 6:20 to 8:00 p.m. We have programs for kids from three years old to high school. Registration forms are available in the church bookstore or the Awana table in front of the church. Register early and save money. We currently need 25 more leaders/helpers to serve over 200 kids. It's an easy and fun way to serve God. You will be busy "storing treasure in heaven" as you help "train up a child in the way they should go." If you are interested in helping, see the leadership chart in the bookstore for a list of openings. Plan to go to Awana official leadership training on August 29 at Sonrise Church in Santee and then join us at CBC on September 1 for "Mock Awana" night.
